Refund policy

At Villa Noir Candle Co., we take pride in crafting premium candles, home fragrance products, and experiences designed to delight our customers. If something isn't right with your order, we're here to help.

Returns

We accept returns of unused, unopened products within 15 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

• Items must be unused and in their original condition.
• Products must be returned in their original packaging.
• Proof of purchase or order confirmation is required.
• Clearance, discontinued, customized, or personalized items are not eligible for return.

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on items that have been burned, used, damaged after delivery, or altered in any way.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at villanoirca]ndleco@gmail.com with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos of the damaged product and packaging

Once reviewed, we will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error or a damaged product.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

• The item arrived damaged
• The wrong item was shipped
• The product is defective upon arrival

Candle Workshops & Events

Workshop and event registrations are subject to the following cancellation policy:

• Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made 3–6 days before the event will receive a store credit valid for 12 months.
• Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable.
• No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

If Villa Noir Candle Co. cancels or reschedules an event, participants may choose either a full refund or transfer to a future event.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided they have not yet been processed or shipped.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the return process outlined above.

Fragrance Preference Disclaimer

Because fragrance perception is highly personal, we cannot offer refunds or returns based solely on scent preference. We encourage customers to review fragrance descriptions carefully before purchasing.
